The Under-16 Women’s Youth National Team from the United States won the Mondial Montaigu Football Tournament after winning four games, including a 1-0 victory over France in the final match. The team also won against Portugal and Norway with scores of 4-1 and 4-0, respectively, during the group stage of the tournament. Additionally, they played a friendly game against France and won 3-0, but this game did not count towards the tournament rankings.
