Downtown United tour Madrid and Barcelona

During the summer, Downtown United took their boys’ and girls’ teams on a trip to Madrid and Barcelona. While on the trip, both teams played friendly games against local teams and received training sessions from the academy coaching staff of Atletico de Madrid and FC Girona.

During their visit, the groups were able to watch two La Liga matches – Atletico vs Granada and Getafe vs FC Barcelona. They also got to enjoy a friendly featuring the FC Barcelona Women’s team, and had plenty of time to explore the vibrant Spanish cities and beautiful beaches.
